What We Do
Your chassis is the structural backbone of your vehicle. When it's damaged — whether from rust, impact, or years of hard use on Irish roads — it compromises the safety of everything above it.
At Quinn Engineering, chassis repair is our core work. We inspect, assess, and carry out proper structural repairs using cut-and-plate welding. No fillers, no temporary fixes.

When Does a Chassis Need Repair?
Common signs your chassis needs attention include unusual handling, pulling to one side, visible rust or cracks on the frame, uneven tyre wear, or failing an NCT inspection. If you've noticed any of these, it's worth getting a proper look underneath.
Irish road conditions — potholes, road salt, damp climate — are hard on chassis components. Vehicles in the border area and Co. Louth are particularly exposed, especially commercial vehicles and farm machinery that see heavy daily use.
Cars, Vans, and Farm Vehicles
We repair chassis on everything from daily drivers to commercial vans and farm trailers. Co. Louth is agricultural country, and farm vehicles take serious structural punishment. If your trailer chassis is sagging, cracking, or has visible corrosion, bring it in. We'll give you a straight assessment.
NCT and Chassis Repairs
A damaged or corroded chassis is one of the reasons vehicles fail the NCT. The structural integrity check looks at chassis rails, mounting points, and load-bearing components. If your chassis has problems, we'll sort them before test day.
